How To Lay Out The Food At Your Buffet

If you've recently decided to include a buffet at your next get-together, the next step is to figure out how you're going to lay everything out. Of course, there's no set of rules for how to do it, but you can definitely find an efficient way of presenting your food. Think about buffets at restaurants - there's a certain flow that ensures everyone gets what they want without having to wait in a huge line.

Start by stacking your plates at the end of the table. This is how people know where to start, and they'll naturally continue down the line from there. Pick up some Triangle Bone Plates - they come with a cup holder, so it's easy to walk around without using both of your hands.

Put the main courses first with a bowl of condiments on each side of the dish. Make sure your plates can be reached on either side of the table so your guests can spread out a bit. Next come sides, followed by dessert. Put napkins and silverware at the end of the table to save space.
